Adobe flash player or alternative ?

I have the s3 and just been onto 'ch5 catch up tv' but it seems it requires Adobe flash player to work. .... my phone doesn't have Adobe flash player and I've found out you cannot officially download it anymore.......I have found a website to manually download it but when I try to use Adobe all I get is a grey screen with a tiny blue box in it.....I have been in browser settings and the allow plug-ins is already ticked so is there either another way to get Adobe to work out is there another way to use 'ch5 catch up tv' ? Thanks for any advice

Would appear the channel5 catchup is not android mobile compatible.
Have you looked for an app in the Play Store?
A live tv app I can recommend is tvcatchup.

Thanks again.......I am using 'filmon' for my live tv The reason I wanted to get ch5 catchup was to watch older shows I had missed much like BBC I player but it looks like that's not going to be possible on the android phone........ I'll just have to use the laptop for that instead
