Thumbs up GripMount Pro car holder review for Note II

I had the official Galaxy Note car holder for my Note 1. While it was good, the suction cup sometimes let go and they whole thing would fall down. Giving me a huge fright when driving (Not good).

Now I have a Note II its time to look for some Galaxy Note 2 accessories So this time around I decided not to fork out for the official car holder but try something else. The GripMount Pro is a holder that has a gel surface on the suction cup that is meant to give a better hold.

This is defiantly the case, its sticks on to my windscreen so much that even with the release lever out its hard to remove!

The design is great, rubber spring loaded holder keep the mobile in place without an damage. Plus I can use my flip case with it without an issues.

    The Good:
    • Great value
    • Quality build
    • Holds the window like no tomorrow.
    • Virtually no moment
    • Both horizontal and vertical use
    • Includes a 3M pad to use if you want to mount it on the dashboard.

    The Bad:
    • Can be very hard to remove from the windscreen
    • The suction pad collects dust. (However its easy to clean)

    Conclusion:

Oone of the best car holders you can get. Holds great, no movement. Works as a car holder should.

Hi, thanks for the review. I'm looking at getting one of these, could you tell me the maximum width phone that will fit in please as the dimensions are not present on mobile fun.

I'll be using a Note N7000 with a case mate tough case which gives a total width of 89mm.

    Thanks

    Neil

    "Hello Briggs,

I'm not sure what is going on but something needs to be done as this forum is dying. This is going to be last communication I have on this forum until someone starts to ban the spammers and actually take control of this forum.

The majority of the people that use and help on this forum are getting annoyed that the forum is being neglected. If this forum continues the way it is going than I can guarantee that this site will come to halt apart from the people posting spam and pirate software links.

Last e-mail to you Briggs as you seem like the only administrator who actually gives a toss.

Regards and for now good bye, Tufftoad."
