    Smooth sync for yahoo app

Everyone else who uses it seems to think it is good/escellent/superb/easy to install etc. etc. ad infinitum.
So I must be the odd one out - but try as I may the stupid thing will not sync both ways with my Yahoo calendar. Punch an entry in on the laptop calendar - Bingo it appears on my Gallaxy Calendar - but it won't work the other way round (phone to laptop).
Any solutions /suggestions would be most welcome (and No - I don't want to use Google Calendar the whole G thing attracts to much Spam and to many adverts!).
    Cheers

    Hi,

I'm the developer of this app. Please ensure that you select the right calendar when you add an event in your calendar app. Watch out for a calendar selection field and select your Yahoo!® calendar. See http://dmfs.org/wiki/index.php?title...lection_fields for examples of this field in different apps.
When you select your Yahoo!® calendar the event should sync properly.

    cheers

    Marten

    Marten,
It was a great pleasure to get such a rapid response to my plea, and from "The fount of all knowledge" - the developer of the App himself ! Thank you.
I am a rather ancient (85 year-old) non-technical bloke who enjoys dabbling around with all this modern gadgetry, mobile phones, laptop computers, electric light, gas etc. So it was refreshing to get your clear and concise instructions which appear to have done the trick for me. I can't stand owning anything that "don't work proper" !!
I shall now join the legion of respondents who have said that the App does "exactly what it says on the box".
Thanks again and best wishes in your future endeavours.
    Malcolm (aka PICASSO20 - but I can't paint either!!)
