You will find most things quite intuitive, but shout up if you get stuck, and welcome aboard![]()

Thanks Rich - even this 'forum' stuff is new to me - but I guess you are never too old to learn! The main 2 issues I have got for now are - 1) my 'contact list' showing 5 of each contact - and this being picked up by my car system by bluetooth and....2) I have managed to lose the 'google talk' Icon 'thing' from my home screen and can't find a way to get it back.
I am going to be a regular "help" customer on here !
Hi Brian, if you go into your contacts app and press menu (botton left softkey) you will see an option called "contacts to display". Press this and you will get a list off all the places you phone is picking up contacts from. Now press "customized list" and you will be able to tick (select) which lists. I suggest you just use either "Phone" or "Google" (if you have syncd with your Google account. For your GTalk app you need to go into your apps screen and it will be in your apps list. Long press on the ap and it will appear on your home screen (if you have room), make room by dragging something into the bin (long press and drag to bottom of screen) that you don't want.
Tip: Many times when doing something you can either press the menu key or long press on the item to bring up a list of more options......

Hi Rich Thanks for the above - I have sorted my contacts now so nly display one of each ! Every time I start my car, however, the phone asks me if it can connect my contacts to the car - I have to go into 'notifications' and click a button to allow it - every time. It would be good if it just did it automatically. Google Talk wasn't in my apps list, but somehow - still not sure how I did it - I brought up a list of 'widgets' - and there it was. Just clicked on it and it reappeared on my home screen !
I'm now going to settle down for a few days and just use the thing without 'messing' - so I may go quiet - but I will be back - for certain ! Thanks again for your help and patience.
Hey Brian, you're doing just fine. If you go into settings and then choose bluetooth you will see a list of paired devices. Depending on which software you have you will see a cog symbol or an option for settings. If you press on your cars profile you need to tick "connect automatically" and it will pair without asking.
