Oh dear, Pluto. One step too far, perhaps. You should get yourself a USB Jig to force your phone into download mode. Then flash something more suitable.
Look on ebay for the jig - about £1 with postage.

Hi Thanks yes the battery was fully charged, what happened is I started with ROM manager and clicked ok to clear delvik do back up and reboot, then I was called away from my desk when I returned the mobile was dead... I have jsut popped into our local independent mobile shop and they put a jig on it and it would not boot they have said it will need to be sent away, they also could not get any life out of it, if you have any suggestion I will try them but think I will have to send it off to be repaired and reflashed.. how silly am I.. If you can't get into download mode there's nothing you/we can do. There is a bit of kit that can be used to force a format onto the phone but it is only used by Samsung service centres, as far as I know....

    Pluto,
Was this because of my recommendation of RR Rom...? I feel guilty as hell if it was, but i had no problems, although I never use rom manager (have never got on with it) side load zip onto internal and always CWM Flash for me. Really hope you can get sorted and apologies!!
