my partner had the galaxy portal gt-i5700
She now has the galaxy SIII. Im trying to update the portal to use as a spare but not having much luck. Ive got the samsung PC suite but still no ideas

Have you tried looking if your device has a slot at xda forums, may find better help

Go to www.sammobile.com and click on FIRMWARE.
In Search put i5700 and a list of firmware will
appear.
Download to your computer the one you want to
install.
