    samsung galaxy s "usb connected"

    Keep getting a message my "usb connected" and it is causing my phone to go wacky doodle and using up my battery as well. What can I do?

    Is it going wacky doodle at random times or during specific operations. I take it your SGS is not connected when you get the wacky doodleness.I suggest a factory reset may be looming.
    I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

    Most likely a dirty or damaged USB port. If careful cleaning doesn't help then you need to change the port.
