This is an intermittent problem in that it sometimes works fine for ages.I can flash a ROM every day and it works fine.Then all of a sudden I cannot get it to work.
32GB SDcard with music,video and photos.
First off it worked fine.All media on the card appeared in the stock apps (music Player,Gallery and Video Player)
I added a few more songs,they didnt show up.To test it I added a few more.Then I added more videos and photos.
Nothing new showed up, all the stuff that was already on the card played as normal.
SO I formatted the card.Now nothing at all shows up.Have formatted in the phone, in a card reader.Fat32, ExFAT.Have dragged over stuff whilst in the phone and in the card reader...nothing.
The card is recognised ,it is scanned on reboot as I get the SDCard is being prepare? message in the notification bar.On first opening the camera it recognises there is an SDcard and lets me store the photos taken with the camera on it...which show up.
Am currently on Omega ROM v23.
Have tried it on v20-v23, stock unbranded ICS ROM ,stock 3 ROM.
WIth or without any apps installed.No joy.
Please help, as with the imminent release of iPhone 5 I am tempted to go back to iOS ,as they say "it just works"
OH, also tried with another 2 cards.Same problem.
