screen goes dark

Just got my SIII, don't know any tricks yet. I have one problem, when playing Klondike my screen goes dark (not black) and then in a few minutes jumps back to normal. It does that at random. I deleted the app and re installed it, same thing. Hasn't done it on anything else I know of. Any ideas?

It is not covered up, also if i purposely cover it uop, there is no change from light to darker. ALso I just installed Kies to sync, view and/or transfer it just sits there (more than 10 minutes now) trying to connect, is that normal

Turn off auto brightness and set the level manually.

Kies is useless, but check you have the drivers installed

Unlock the screen.....
