Hi,
I've just had my annual upgrade and have changed my handset from a Galaxy S to a Galaxy S2.
I was wondering what the best way of transferring apps between the 2?
thanks
Greg

When you sign in to your google account and then go to the play store all the apps you have downloaded will be there ready for you to download again to your new S II.
Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100. Stock ICS LPT 4.0.4, Rooted with CF-Root. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, 16GB, Wi-Fi, Jelly Bean 4.1.1.
OK, ta. I'll give it a try.
Is there a way of copying my messages across too?
(i) Use the dreaded Kies to import them from the S to your PC, then export to the S2
(ii) Download an app which backs up messages to the phone, create the backup on the S then copy the backup file to the S2 and restore
(iii) Download Backup to Gmail, back up messages to your Google account from the S then restore to the S2.
SMS backup and restore off Play works well for messages....

SGS 3 i9305 SIM Free Dev Tool. Galaxy Project ROM.
I've got the SMS Backup+ and the messages have appeared in gmail.
How do I get them onto my S2?
I'm a bit clueless with phones, as you can probably tell!
If you backed up to the SD card put it into the S2 then use the restore option in SMS backup.
