    Cannot add photos to Contacts

    Hi all,

    I have done a search for this problem, but cannot find an answer!

    When i got my Galaxy S2, i had no problems adding photos to people in my contact list, but just recently, every time i search for that contact to add a new photo or update it, regardless of whether the contact already has a photo or not, it comes up with "Contact not found"??

    These are the steps i am using (in case there is another way):
    * Open photo from Gallery
    * Touch Phone Menu (Comes up with Share Via, Set as and More along bottom)
    * "Set as"
    * Choose Contact photo
    * Type name into "Find contacts"
    * Immediately comes up with "Not found"

    Its not a huge problem, but would be nice to see if there is a way round this!!

    Where are your contacts stored? You can't add photos to SIM contacts, only those on the phone or your Google account.

    All of my contacts are stored on my SIM, how come i managed to put photos with them before, as they have always been on my SIM since i had the phone? Doesn't make sense tbh!

    I've no idea - I don't know what you did before. I just telling you how to do it now
    It's possible that you may have copied the contacts to your phone without knowing....?

    I got a new SIM when i got the phone in July, all i done with contacts was transfer them from itunes via Kies, and they all went onto my new SIM, i know that because i checked they were all on the SIM once transfer was completed!

    There were definately no contacts on my "phone" when i done these photos!

    The only thing i can think of is i have not been able to do this since the last update on the phone?

    Are you saying there is no way of adding photos then, even through PC side of it?

    I appreciate the help, thanks!

    Not to the SIM card, no. You've never been able to save anything other than basic contact info to a SIM card.
    If you copy the contacts to your phone (which will automatically back them up to your Google account) you can add photos, emails, birthdays, addresses etc to each contact.

    Ok, So my next question is: How do i copy all my contacts off my SIM card onto the phone?

    I have just gone through my contact list and various edit menus, there doesn't seem to be a option to do this on the phone?
