Hi, my samsung galaxy s2 broke down on me a week ago. How this happened was that I saw the ota update being available for downloading so I proceeded to download the update. Now, when it got the update and it automatically started to install, The phones battery died (inthe middle of the installation). when i charged it up and turned it on an error message comes up after the samsung logo saying the package installer got an error and now wont let me use the phone at all ( it freezes up after the message). I tried restarting it but the same thing happened. the phone is now unusable. i visited a phone stor asking if they could repair it but no, they couldnt. what to do? send the phone in/swap it out?
thanks

.)and said it would wipe and reset the phone to factory mode. well so I tried it out. Turns out it just made it worse lol. The usb jig did its thing for around 10-15min. and then went black. The phone is now apparently unchargeable and as I connect the charger the only thing that happens is that the charging circle image blinks up for a sec or 2 and then the screen goes black<--- endless loop when connected to the charger. so...anything else i could try? I cant even turn it on in factory reset mode
