connecting a contact with a facebook acct

How do you connect a contact on my phone to a facebook acct.

It works the other way round.
If you have a Facebook account on your phone (get the app) then under Settings > Accounts and sync your Facebook account can be set up to sync and incorporate your FB contacts in your phone contacts.

Now open Contacts on your phone, press menu and from the list find Contacts to display.
In there is your facebook account.

Either im blonde or i just dont see it, all i have on facebook is account and went to acct settings and a list popped up and not one of is about sync. What else can i do.

Sign in to the app then hit menu, settings. At the very bottom of the list you will see "Sync Contacts" Select "Sync all" and they will then appear in your contacts list. You might have to go into your contacts app and press menu, contacts to display and select Facebook if you have previously set a custom view option.

Install the Facebook app from the Play Store.
Sign on.
Facebook will now appear in Settings > Accounts and sync
Select Facebook and it will open up a list of items you wish to sync to your phone.
Select Contacts.
Now choose sync now.

Go to Contacts and press menu.
Scroll down list to Contacts to display.
Your Facebook account should be in there.
Select, or if you want other accounts, then select all.

Now this may give you too many Contacts or duplications, so it's back to Accounts and sync to open all accounts there.
Deselect any Contacts in accounts you don't want to sync.
