gmail not syncing (nightmare!)

Hi all, i'm having a complete nightmare. It's this fault with gmail not syncing on the phone and im hoping someone here may of had this problem or knows about it and can help me resolve it.

So gmail wont sync gmail = contacts/gmail/calander and gives a message "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly" been like this for ages now. Also won't let me sign in on the phone saying password is wrong, now i know it aint as i went on my laptop signed in that way also. i'm lost what the fault could be or what to do. If someone could help me that would be sooo great.

Change your Gmail password (you can change it back) and try again.

The reason for the failed sync is because you are not signed in on the phone. Passwords are case sensitive so make sure you got capital letters etc where they should be and follow the advice above, all should then be well.

thanks for the help, seems to work now. very strange though as i was messing bout with passwords yesterday and nothing. anyway again thanks and have great weekend
