I'd be happy with getting 3G. Be nice if they could look at extending that coverage rather than boosting already good signals in city centres.

    LOL.
Think you're supposed to click on the link!!
If you did, then you will see that it's the company behind the Orange and T Mobile network - they merged in 2010.

Everything Everywhere are the Group behind the Orange & T-Mobile calloboration, they will have access to roll out 4g networks prior to other networks offering a 4g srvice.

As for the S3 being LTE enabled it might not as I saw this article at SammyHubby.com:

Galaxy S III LTE coming to Germany in October

Samsung will launch an LTE variant of Galaxy S III in Germany in October. Unlike 3G, Galaxy S III LTE will allow users to download and upload content to speeds up to 100Mbit/s and 50Mbit/s respectively. The Galaxy S III LTE will feature 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 8MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microSD card slot.

Galaxy S III LTE will sell for a price of around 749 euros

My I9000 is fine on H and if the signal is good works as well as it does on Wi-Fi for general use. A "good signal" is the key - if it's borderline and keeps dropping to E, 3G or GSM then it's a pain but whose to say this won't happen with 4G? I have noticed that the GSM speed seems to have improved on Orange/Tmobile I presume because the network capacity had improved - so even if the speed isn't as good you get a more reliable connection.
I've got a headache and eyestrain ... one day all will be fixed!

SGS I9000 with Darky's ROM 9.5 still until they get call recording on a newer ROM

EE will bring first 4G LTE network in the UK by the end of the year

Carriers over at the US are tripping over themselves to brag about their 4G LTE networks, but adoption across the pond has been limited. Things are changing though - Everything Everywhere is rebranding itself EE and will be rolling out the first 4G LTE in the UK.

The service, called "4GEE", will cover a third of the population by the end of this year. As you would expect, that means covering the big cities - Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Derby, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Newcastle, Sheffield and Southampton.
4GEE will be available to phones and laptops. Five LTE-enabled phones will be available initially - the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE, the new Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, the HTC One XL and the Huawei Ascend P1 LTE.
Huawei will also be providing a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot and a USB stick.

EE has plans to roll out fiber broadband to homes and promises lower prices if you get both fiber broadband and 4GEE.
The T-Mobile and Orange brands won't disappear - their stores will remain intact, but you'll have to go with EE if you want 4G.
