Apps keep getting spread on new pages

    Hi guys

my phone does this thing that whenever I download a new app it spreads it to empty pages in the applications tab. Usually it will be done with a page after it has like 5 apps and then starts piling on the next page. Is there anything I can do to merge it all together?

In Google play, it has "auto add widget" ticked by default. Go into the play store, click on settings and you can untick the box in there.

Or if it's the app draw that you are talking about then press the Menu button and sort the apps alphabetically or another way, that should get rid of the spacing between apps.

Yes, it's one of the annoying features of the stock launcher.
The choice is either to have an alphabetical list or a random lot of widgets. There is the option to edit, but involves a tedious movement of widgets (but you only need to do it once)
My choice would be either to list, or choose another launcher that provides more choice.
If you haven't already, take a look at Golauncher, or Nova - both available for free in the Play Store.
