That's not good at all as 500mb data will not be enough. spend the extra £3 or £4 and get 1gb or unlimited.

Google will be your best bet.

First question you should ask is which network gives you the best signal where you live/work/go on holiday etc.... You could pay £10 a month with everything included unlimited but no good if you can't get a signal

If you can buy a phone outright and can get an O2 signal, then the Giffgaff £10 a month package with 250 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited Internet takes some beating.
I've used it for 18 months and have nothing but praise.

best signal where i live is Vodafone all the rest are rubbish ive tried them all. cant afford to buy the phone straight out so it will be on contract. just want a cheap deal where i don't have to pay for the phone. i only use text and internet. i use maybe 10 mins of calls a month.

I was holding out for the launch of the Note 2 but am sorely tempted to get an S3 now on the one plan with three. If you order through quidco they are doing £98 cash back (expires in 2 days) and i can also sell my S2 to envirofone for £200. To get out of my T mobile contract which is just short of a year to run will cost me £221. I am currently paying £26.47 a week so when i take into account cashback, selling phone and paying off early leaving i am getting the S3 on the one plan for about 3 pound a month more than i pay just now. Definitely tempted.

p.s. sorry should have said that the three contract is £29 for phone and £31 a month, The one plan is 2000 minutes, 5000 texts, additional 5000 Three to three minutes and unlimited Data, including tethering. OK i will never use the minutes or texts but still a great deal in my eyes.

    Thumbs up

I'm with Vodafone UK and each time my contract is up for the past 7/8 yrs I call or in this case I typed my wish to end my contract via their chat service. Saying I've seen a deal I like elsewhere which was at phones4u. I'd got 1 month left so was available for an upgrade which makes bartering easier :-)
Anyway the operator I'd delt with via chat excepted my cancellation with no hassells. The next day I got a call from their retention team just to clarify my reasons for leaving and what deals I'd been after. He gave me the Blue s3 with 600 minutes + free to any Vodafone users, unlimited txt, 1GB data and 2GB wifi open zone? For £26 per month, it shows on my bill as £36 but has £10 discount for 24 months
He also explained that that with Vodafone I'd get 2yrs warranty which came in handy when my s1 motherboard died 14 months in, which got repaird no problem.
This isn't a massive plug for Vodafone I'm sure all networks have retention teams.
It's just that when you call for any upgrade you won't get through to the people with options. So I've always had to play this game to get a result.
So if your contract is due give it a try mate hope it pays off for ya.
