Hi everyone. i am a complete virgin when it comes to mobile and have got myself a the galaxy 2.
Does anyone know if i can turn or take off the weather report that seems to be on my hompage????
also, once i've finished on the internet, if i just press home, does that mean that i've come off the net and my mg data is no longer being used???? as don't want a massive bill at the end of the month cause i haven't signed off properly!!
any help at all would be greatly appreciated

1. Long press it and then drag it to to the dustbin.

2. When you keep pressing back you will come out of the browser, if you really want to end it hold down the the home button then end it or remove it from the task manager.

Hopefully you have data included in your contract? Many apps on the S2 will use data so the internet is the least of your worries. If you want to restrict data use to be only "on demand" then hold down the lock button (on right side of phone) for 2 seconds. A menu will pop up and one option is "data network mode" Press this to turn data off then when you want to use data press it again to turn on...
If you connect to wifi whenever possible this is free data
