Skygo from SGS2 via MHL to Big HDTV

Hi, has anybody used a SGS2 to view Skygo on a big screen HDTV? If anyone has, what is the picture quality like on the big TV? I have streamed Skygo via a VGA cable to my big HDTV and the picture is just a little worse than a standard def picture..... Just wanted to know will it be worth getting a MHL cable for Skygo, or will I be hugely dissapointed???

HDMI is disabled when you connect an MHL cable when using the Skygo app.... Another one of Sky'd little piss off's !!!!

What? so you cannot use MHL to TV to view skygo? What about if you got skygo via dolphin browser and changed useragent to desktop PC? Or is it the MHL that the skygo app recognises....? If so is there a better viewing option than VGA?

I've not tried it through a browser (never thought of it actually, doh!!) but the skygo app looks for the cable and if connected won't stream......
I'll find the code in a min and post it up....

If you decompile the Sky Go source, you see things like:

Ok, what about the free sources? IE wiziwig, cricfree, justintv etc, do they stream via MHL cable to HDTV? If its they dont stream either, not much point in getting a MHL cable!!!!!
Any knowledge on streaming the (Free Ones) via SGS2 >> MHL>>HDMI/HDTV?

Anything except Skygo will stream via MHL. It's just Sky being awkward ba****ds !!
