    Hi Guys and Gal's, just tried the 3 finger salute again, but removing my finger from the power button a little slower, and hey! got the recovery screen!! So, I have cleared the cache, but not gonna do another factory reset, as I did do one before updating and did again, just after updating, but via the option in settings..

    Will let you know how it goes.... I have noticed thus far, that ringtones seem a lot louder? Is this correct? or just the "Placebo" effect?

    Cheers;

    Speedway

    Yup, there are 3 sound stages I think, if you just press through till you see Silent.
    1. Sound
    2. Vibrate
    3. Silent

    There might be further options under Settings > Sound > Vibration Intesity, there you can select vibration intensity for Calls, Notifications & Haptic F.Back (I'm on the SGS3 4.0.4 and options differ according to firmware version)

    I think you need to untick "vibrate when silent" in sound settings....

    Hi..my brightness control in notification bar has stopped working after i upgraded to 4.04.
    Has anyone had the same issue and managed to fix this.
    Will i have to factory reset to make this function work again.
    Any advice would be great.
