I upgraded my S2 yesterday and can no longer receive emails via the stock email app. I have had to download K9 mail which works fine but I do prefer the stock app.

I also have an Android Icon com.candyspacemediasamsung on my app screen and I cannot remove this. It also causes my TWLauncher to crash.

I also had problems starting the camera.

Not a good experience.

It looks like a factory reset for me.

Has anyone else encountered these problems in particular the com.candyspace issue how did you resolve it?

Same advice as always when upgrading.... it appears 4.04 needs a factory reset too. I did mine both before and after upgrading and its super smooth, no crashes and everything works fine. I like the new tweaks too.... It's almost as good as my S3 now

RichH what are the tweaks and are they hidden are can you see them. I have noticed my message notification is white now rather than red.

hi..only thing i have noticed at the moment is the brightness display slider at top of screen doesnt seem to work at the moment

Exchange email now has improved capability, brightness controls in notification bar, weather widget now works properly plus some other menu and layout changes. I'm sure there is much more but not played too much with it yet...

When I press software update available in about phone, it returns (no update available) do I need to be hard connected via kies or ?? I am defo [XEU] and on ICS.

Connect phone to PC via cable and you should get firmware update via KIES.

It has totally wrecked my ability to get emails from my Icloud account which I depend on daily for work.

I do not have a brightness in the notification bar so if someone could help on this it would be great.

Email was working fine prior to upgrading to ICS 4.0.4. Now my Samsung Galaxy S2 does not connect to my Apple Icloud account. I cannot get my emails pushed to my phone now. It just does not recognise my account and it times me out.

Need a solution to this as I need my emails when I am on the road.
