I know its the wrong forum but anyone know anything about the htc desire c just got one for my son it says 4gb memory but when i go into storage it's got
internal storage
total space 0.94gb
apps 11.8MB
available 843MB
phone storage
total 95.2MB
available 95.1MB
this dont seem to add up to 4gb am i missing something he hasnt put any apps on it yet so there dont seem to be a lot of room for anything.
any help thanks.

All phones pretty much have less than they say. Although it may have 4Gb internal storage some of the space may be reserved for the OS. You have just under a 1gb available installing apps but your actual phone storage looks low. Has you son put any media on like photos/music/videos etc?

My SGS1 was a 8gb internal storage but I could only use 6gb of the storage for media.

hi no only got phone on sat just out of box so nothing put on it just what it came with, if thats all the memory thats in it he wont get much on there unless i get an external sd card will the apps run from this? tried to get him to go for samsung but he wanted this one.

You have enough room for apps, 843Mb. It's where it says phone storage total 95.2MB; available 95.1MB. you could get an external SD card which would allow you to store media, it will also allow you to move apps to the external sd card in order to save space (apps can only be moved if the app allows it).

I would go to a phone shop and just ask to check the internal storage on another Desire C, then you can compare and see if it's the standard or a fault.
