    Charging battery abroad

I'm going to France and Belgium in about two weeks and wondering on how to correctly recharge the battery. Do I need a transformer to change the 110 in Canada to the 220v in Europe?

Or is the adaptor, with the round tips sufficient?

I've used in the past the car lighter adaptor with my garmin gps in Europe and it worked in the manner that it does in Canada. So this should be the same with my S3.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry for the two posts, I somehow clicked a wrong button...

Well...I finaly was told by my provider that the charger that comes with the S3 is international, works with 110v and 220v.

You guys were ok not to laugh too loud!!! It probably won't be my last dumb question though...

Same, although if I was unsure, I'd plugged it into a TV/PC/or some other device with USB Also some places now have USB charging points

I was told that it is written on the plug that comes with the phone. It is so darn small that I needed a magnifying glass to read it, but it covers both 110v and 220v. The only thing needed is the rouded tips adaptor.

But I bought the additional battery with charger just to be sure if I take so many photos and use the GPS and the battery gets drained. It charges the battery with the same plug that comes with the phone, thus I will test this charger to be sure it works correctly and then be more confident in charging the phone itself. I'm coming back in mid-september and will try to remember to post the result here
