I'm having a problem with my new Galaxy Xcover (which I'm assuming is in the same "line" as the Galaxy S series). Great phone that is otherwise working really well. Configuration messages were received, phone turned off and batter/Sim taken out before restarting (as advised by Technical Support who can't help any more)
The problem I'm having is two-part.
I can access web pages on normal mobile signal, but it's as if this freezes up at times with no warning...suddenly, with no other settings having changed, it will no longer access web pages. I can sometimes fix this by turning Wifi on and then off again, but usually I need to turn the phone off and start again and this always fixes it.
In addition to this, I cannot use any application that relies on internet (ie, Maps, Store, Facebook for Android, etc) on mobile signal. They work fine with Wifi, but not away. It just says there is no connection.
Turning data roaming on makes no difference. The signal strength has made no difference either.
A third problem I am having (if anyone can help, or if it is related) is that my position in Maps is about 50km out. I've logged the error report, but it's still wrong.
