Drowning icon?

Let my sprog loose on my phone to play with his beloved "Talking Friends" today. Otherwise distracted, SammyS Jr dunked my pride and joy in the few inches of rain water that'd collected in a corner of his paddling pool. My fault entirely for trusting him with my precious.

Anyway, point is, I now have an icon in the top left corner of the screen that's an "i" within a circle, that's got a diagonal line through it.

Does anyone know what this is please? It's not in the i9300 manual so I'm guessing it's the phone saying "Been dunked in water - warranty void".

The phone is working absolutely perfectly and never faltered following it's dip, but does anyone know what the icon is please? Only the screen was wet and I've reflashed LG8 firmware but the icon remains. It's a worry!

Any gen - good or bad - would be appreciated.

If you pull down the notification bar and press the the notifications tab it will turn on your notifications. This should get rid of it.

Young sprog had indeed turned off the Notification button - how, I know not. Doesn't matter though as you've sussed it.
