Voice Command App

Hi,

I am new to this forum and completely new to Android and all/any of its features

Bit the bullet yesterday and purchased a couple of unlocked, Sim free, non-contract Galaxy S2s with the newest OSs installed on both of them.

I have yet to set up INTERNET/email on both phones.

One of the phones is to be used by my disabled friend.

Much to my surprise while trying to set up voice commands within contacts, " phone home", phone friends"," phone help", that kind of thing my friend can not without having an INTERNET connection as the phone uses a Google voice recognition app.

With all the phones we have ever had with voice commands we have never needed a live Net connection.

Is there a third party app which can be uploaded to the S2 that will facilitate voice commands with out requiring an INTERNET connection to use it?

Double click on Home button will start Vlingo that will carry out verbal instructions, and in driving mode will read out messages received
