    There's nothing in the cache!!!

    There's a total in stockage: 18,11 Mo
    Applications: 0
    Applications USB: 0
    Data: 224Ko
    SD: 17,89 Mo

I connected the phone and did the search with Window Explorer and did find some photos. But the ones in the Galery aren't there.

    Running out of ideas

I know applications like Whatsapp, Instagram, Voxer etc all store pictures that are sent/received and they will show in the gallery, those pictures would be found in each applications folder (they may not have .jpg as their extension).

I finaly threw the towel and called Samsung in Canada for help. I spoke to someone, but I had to leave too rapidly. He gave me the case number and I will call back tomorrow. If they do find a way to correct this, I will come back and post the info here. Thanks for all your help. I'm beginning to have an headache with this LOL!

Good luck. It's one of those issues that we could probably find if we had the phone in our hands but it's difficult to envisage what you are seeing on screen etc....

They are thumbnail, with the Picasa icon in them and the mention: instant transfer (my translation of french). Right beside the Picasa icon is the number 80 (number of photos). And above the thumbnail photo: My first name and PC (laptop).

When I "click" on that photo, then another page opens and there's 12 on a single page, all thumbnail.

I think I have the same issue.

I've deleted something so now the photos are not there, but it's still showing the files they were in.

This what I am experimenting. I talked with someone at Samsung Canada and he told me that the Galery is synchronized with our Gmail accounts, that once transferred they appear under the tab "photos" in our Gmail. Problem with me is that not all of them get there. Although they are still in the Galery and marked as instant transferred.

He checked if my programs (Gmail etc) were synchronized, and couldn't help me delete the photos still in the Galery and said I would need to reprogram the phone and loose all my info etc.

As some of you pointed out, the photos aren't in the Galery anymore, although they still appear there...weird!

So I will leave things as they are until I come back from my trip abroad.

What is peculiar is that some photos did get in the Gmail photo, I have no idea why they didn't all get there. maybe I clicked too many times, or pushed the wrongs buttons...??

I finaly removed them. When you glide down your finger from the top of the screen, you have the strip above with GPS etc. In the options below I had an "Upload" item and when I clicked on this, I reached my photos and could send them in the trash can.

It didn't work with other photos that I took. They still stay in the galery as thumbnail.

But I just tried this morning to send them with gmail instead of picasa and it took a little while but in checking my gmail box (under photo) they were there. So I deleted them and bingo! theyr'e not in the galery anymore. Maybe this is the way to send them instead of clicking the picasa wheel.

Hope this helps you too doomed.
