Can't use contact list on bluetooth in my car

Hi all

I am brand new to this forum and I tried looking up this issue before posting. Couldn't find it. I've paired my S2 to the bluetooth system in my car. However, when I try to use it in the usual way, via voice command, I get a message reading, "Downloading Contacts." This hangs for several seconds, then turns off and I cannot make a call.

I've read that this is a common issue but I don't know how to solve it. Any ideas?
