Samsung Galaxy S2 - how do I get music from My Files

    Hi All

I am new to this forum and the Samsung Galaxy S2.
When I download anything from my PC onto the phone it goes straight into My Files.
I cannot then get anything in My Files to save to a ringtone or notification? Or anywhere else quite frankly!!!!
How does this work - I am getting quite frustrated.
Hope that someone can help me
    Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Could you tell us how you are downloading your files to your phone?

When you connect your phone with the USB cable, you should see GT-i9100 available under my computer. In there should be phone and card (if installed) directories to which you can drag and drop any file you want in any folder you want. You can put ringtones and notifications in folders of those names and your phone should recognise them as such.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

When playing an mp3 or other music file just press the bottom left (menu) key and select option to "use as ringtone"
