battery drain? screen turning on? charging when unplugged? other bizarre behaviour?

for a few weeks my, c. 14 month old, sgs2 has been acting strangely...

some days, the battery drains in just a few hours

sometimes saying charging when disconnected from charger, then saying it's stopped charging due to high voltage

the screen turning on every 3-4 minutes when charging

voice input screen popping up even though it's turned off

the clock/weather screen randomly appearing

and other weirdness

...it does *none* of these consistently, some days are fine, others two or three of the above might happen, no apparent pattern

i tried...

deleting/disabling various apps
rebooting
different cable
different charger
clearing data
deleting/adding accounts
turning off wifi
factory reset
etc. etc.

today i fixed it, i changed this part...

I've changed a few of these myself and mentioned it many times on here, but some people don't want to hear it and try to convince themselves its a software issue......
