As requested, Im just sticking my head around the door and saying hello...I bought my first Android phone today, the S2..im new to the Android set up but I wouldnt say I was a technophobe..

At last it seems ive found a pretty busy site, Ill be posting a few questions thats for sure...so far the phone has been quite a disappointment..

I'm sure somebody will be able to tell you how to make your phone less of a disappointment

It all depends on expectation, I guess...... I still haven't figured out how to get mine to make the tea yet

Expectation...well, I would be lying if I said I wasnt impressed with a lot of the features...my reaction was, well...lets just say 'wow' as I dont want to get kicked off for bad language!...

But I didnt expect to not receive timed message alerts, no option for traditional view in messages etc..and having to create a folder to allow me to add my own alert tomes when a message come through..all in all though its a massive step up from the Wave phone..its just quite as user friendly...at the moment.

The whole point of android is that it is customisable. Apps are available for most things and you have full control over what and how your phone does things.
