Hi folks I am new on here, I am also an OAP with limited IT experience. I have loaded the Skype app on my Samsung Galaxy and it appears to have taken over my phone, everytime I try to dial either from my contacts or via the keypad it always diverts the call through Skype and not my Orange account ? help please ! This is what happens when OAPs get phones, next the sky will turn red and the ground will crack open. That will be the BBQ time

Do you not get the choice to choose when you select the contact. If not, it looks like you've chosen skype as your default dialler.

Try this:

App draw (Menu) > Settings > Applications manager > All (Top Tab) > "Goto" Dialer "or" Skype (Not sure which one. I'm looking in Dialer on mine) > "Launch by default: Press" Clear defaults.

You should now get the option to choose which one to use. You could put the Dialer as default again as you should be able to choose skype in the contacts. Or this is what your doing all ready and need to select dialer icon instead
