Hi, ive had a look and cant see any resolution so thought id post up. Had my phone for 4 days now and there seems to be a intimitant problem with the contact txt. Every now and again i get a text, when i go into the conversation with the blue bar at the top with the contact and number says one name and number but when i go back to the main inbox (under "new message") the contact and number is totaly different ??? has anyone else had this problem??

Tried to duplicate this problem on my phone, it doesn't seem to happen. Can you try deleting the whole thread message and see if it happens again?
Had it happen previously on my g1 while using handcent sms.are you using stock sms app or 3rd party?
no using standard sms. it doesnt happen all the time so even when i deleted thread it was fine then a day later it happened with two other random contacts its weird
