    im assuming this will work on windows 7 32 bit as well

    oh has anyone tried to flash a phone that is locked to a network... on the guide it says make sure your phone is sim UNLOCKED

    the XWJG5 download doesn't have a .pit file. Is this needed?

    edit: i noticed there's a .pit file in the Odin download.

    from Briggs' earlier post, it appears this should only take a minute or so. however, i've tried a couple of times and even after 20 or so mins, nothing much seems to happen. as i speak i have the following:

    <ID:0/011> Added!!
    <ID:0/011> Odin v.3 engine (ID:11)..
    <ID:0/011> File analysis..

    It's running on Com 11 this time (previously COM 10) but i doubt that should matter. Anyway got any tips?

    thanks soraxd, that's exactly what i just tried and it has worked. for anyone else below are the commands you should get. the important part was adding the CSC file.


    <ID:0/009> Firmware update start..
    <ID:0/009> factoryfs.rfs
    <ID:0/009> cache.rfs
    <ID:0/009> dbdata.rfs
    <ID:0/009> boot.bin
    <ID:0/009> Sbl.bin
    <ID:0/009> param.lfs
    <ID:0/009> zImage
    <ID:0/009> cache.rfs
    <ID:0/009> Removed!!

    Just flashed to XJF5 but under firmware it displays the old one i flashed from (XJF3) :S
    also this one doesnt have the voice google search bar on home...

    not sure if that can be added/downloaded but and help would be very much appreciated

    Decided to flash to JG5. Under firmware the build number is JG5 but the Baseband is still JF3...
    Is that normal?
