    Custom Firmware to Stock

I rooted my phone last night and soon after had a play around with a custom rom.

Although I liked a few parts of it, I realised I prefer a lot of features of stock and with there being a stock update today I like to go back.

Is it as simple as doing a factory rest, wipe cache and then flash the new firmware with Odin?

    Exactly that.
You will have to root again.

I thought that would be the case.

I'll give it a go this evening, thanks

For what it's worth, I tried out Paranoid Android. I really like the tablet style of it but I couldn't get any of main launchers (Nova, Apex, Go) to look as nice as Touchwiz. I think I'd be willing to try a Touchwiz based rom at some time in the future instead

Any of the stock samsung based roms should do you. Wanamlite is about as close to stock as you would get. It's just deodexed and has a few bits of bloatware taken out but he provided a cwm zip with all the removed apps in so you can pick and choose what you want back. I'm currently giving criskelo rom a try which is quite nice as well. Again it's stock, never got on with CM type roms.
