    Hope you haven't goofed it.
The downloaded and unzipped file is made up of the 3 files you need, and you should have only put it in the PDA box.
Do not do anything else, except connect your phone in download mode by the usb.
Make sure you get the yellow box and you're ready to start.

well its safe to say the phone is broke! not from my goof up though as i did the reflash and the phone does exactly the same as the fault it started with, i did manage to reinstall software but still it would not boot up! so i thing it may be hardware fault possibly?? hope this is not going to become a common problem! i suppose time will tell.
cheers for the help thou greenman!

ok got new phone and all was great UNTILL!!! it started again!!, However i think i found out what the issue is. i have a gel case on the handset and when you press the power button there is no feeling so i think ive been pressing too hard, anyway it seems like the power button gets stuck if you push the top half of the button and get lodged under the case. so if you get anyone with this problem then get them to check this as i just had to use a pin to gently tease out the button.

Cut out the bit of gel case covering the power button.
