Thanx for this. Am i right in thinking this has to be put into 3 sections in odin. I.e modem in phone bit, csc in csc and code in pda bit. Thanx dusty.

I haven't had the chance to download it yet, but extract (unzip) once only and see what files you get....

Yes it is 3 files and put in Odin exactly as you have said.

Strange!

I posted here this morning (would have been second post in thread) and now it has vanished.

I only asked if anyone had tried the update, so it was not against the rules.

Yes I've had the update for 24 hours and it's Ok.
Small changes to widgets such as contacts, calculator ,camera.
Other than that haven't noticed any major changes, but works well enough.

Do we need to use the pit file included?

Yes.
Just go into settings > Back up & reset and tick the boxes to back up and restore from google servers.
Back up with Kies your contacts (unless synced with Gmail or other) and other.
Not a problem really.
