Hey recently my S2 completely locked up and froze so i removed the battery and restarted it but now i have lost all my apps. Just wondering if there is a way to get them back so i dont have to start again on some of them.

I doubt it very much. I'm also taking for granted that you weren't rooted and didn't backup your apps.
If you sign in to Google Play I think the best you will get is a list apps that you have installed to your phone. When in google Play, go Menu > My Apps and then swipe left to bring up recent apps.
If you were on ICS firmware and you had ticked Backup and reset options in Settings then you should be able to recover your apps.
Otherwise it sounds like your restart factory reset your phone for some reason as taking out the battery and restarting shouldn't delete your apps.
Thing is it kept all the pic / contact / messages and it kept ebay app facebook app however angry birds and other game apps all got wiped =/

Sounds like it may be a game app that caused the crash.
Not a factory reset though as you would have lost messages, FB and Ebay and possibly contacts - pics are not touched by a FR.
