iplayer issues on s2

hi everyone new s2 user here, hoping for a little help please.

Trying to bbc iplayer working, it came already on my phone and I've updated it on the market. Also, installed latest flash and have got good wi-fi connection.

Tried to load it through the player and through opera and dolphin browsers - I get as far as seeing a picture preview of the programme and a little swirling circle which seems to indicate it is downloading. Then it stops and says "this content doesn't seem to be working"

Mine works ok, so not the site.
Try going into Settings > Applications > BBC I player and Clear data before restarting.

BBC iPlayer version 1.3
On phone, not sd card

Turn your router off and on again to renew your link.

BTW: If you want live tv there's a beta version of tvcatchup that works really well.

I can only load the catchuptv on my pc not my s2. If I download it on my pc which folder do I copy it onto my s2 to?

OK. Final thought.
The download needs some space, so clear cache.
Go to Task Manager and Clear Memory.

Running out of options and a factory reset and Clear cache in Recovery mode may be the next thing.
You are launching from the application aren't you, not from in a browser.

You should be able to download to your S2 directly.
Suggests the problem is in your wifi link.
With tvcatchup put it on external sd. You will need go to into My files > external sd to find apk file. In Security tick unknown sources to allow install.
