    ram & battery help

    In My application manager running ram is 505mb used & 278mb free is thar normal??also within an hour I have downloaded 3 apps & put apps into folders my battery has gone from 100% to 86%.should I be concerned at all?thanks for reading & any advice would be appreaciated.also is there any apps I can stop??

    Seems normal to me, but if you want to stop running apps, long press on Home button to reveal Task Manager and side swipe to remove.

    PS The screen is the biggest eater of battery power, so when downloading and app turn the screen off.

    Thanks.in the task manager.ram status it says 507mb/780mb.is that bad? Sorry if I sound dumb it just seems a lot of ram used & I have'nt really got a hell of a lot on the phone.

    Android allocates memory as required. You actually have almost 2GB to play with. So in your case android has decided that the apps need 783 mb to run apps and cache the history.

    Thanks! Sorry to be a pest but in the about device where system update should be like the s2.my s3 does not have it.just starts with status.can you tell me why? If you know.thank you for your help & time
