I've had my S2 for a couple of months now and generally speaking I love it. First time I've had an Android phone and I have to admit some its vast capabilities are a mystery to me! It's started to do strange things just lately so I'm going to search around and see if I can find any answers

Yeah, if you've had it a couple of months now it's about 6 in human years and 6-year-olds are funny things.

Wait 'till it's 4 or 5 months old, then it'll be into adolescence. Good luck there...

Hi RichH. I am very new to this forum and would appreciate any help I can get for my problem. I have a SGSII and bought another one for my wife. However, I bought it through Kogan and it is in an international language that I cannot identify and the home page is nothing like my home page. Does anyone know how I can navigate to settings to change language to English? Appreciate help.

As it is new to you and most likely that all the phone will be set up wrong for your region I suggest you do a factory reset. Turn off phone, then hold Vol Up + Home key + Power key until the Samsung splash screen appears, then let go. Wait for recovery mode to load then use vol down key to select factory reset, press the power key to execute and accept the warnings. Phone should go blank for a while then reboot. The first option you get will be to set your Region/language. Then go on to set up the other options on the phone....
