Copying text to clipboard

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues when copying text to clipboard?

After text is selected I press the copy button and the phone starts to crash, usually the screen goes blank then the follwoing error message comes up.



Initially this was working, then slowly the error appeared. I've experienced this with BBC News & Chrome, am sure it's not relating to one particular app.

Anyone else come across this?

Due to the unique way the BBC is funded...

No, I've tried two apps with BBC news feeds (I know it's not just BBC but it could be a causal factor) and I can select text with the bar at the top showing, allowing me to copy text to the clipboard.

After selecting the text do you copy it ot the clipboard?

After highlighting text I get a bar at the top with a cross on the left, then from the right I have an inverted triangle in a circle, one document overlaid on another and a square with four smaller squares inside.

If I tap the 'two documents' I get a message 'Text copied to clipboard', I can then paste that text in any relevant place.

Thanks Stonkr, been checking on other apps and it happens whenever I try to copy any text; Gmail just crashed on me too. Will definitely have to factory reset.

I flashed ALF2 via odin, then CF-Root, used TriangleAway, then finally installed a circular battery I found on XDA via CWM.

Have had no problems other than fiddling with my apps imported from my SGS and occasional lag when going back to the Nova Launcher home screens. (now prefer this to Go Launcher - 7 icons in the dock!)

But then you've been running your triple eye for longer than me, what with me being a newbie and all.

So the Factory Reset work, am able to copy and paste without a problem. Who knows what the problem was but it's gone
