housing - full replacement

ive had my s2 over a year now and over that time ive been dropped a few times but luckily each time the screen has remained intact

the housiing however is really battle scared up now

ive seen a few listings for full housin replacements on ebay but was concerned i would not be able to do it myself and was wondering if anyone on here had done it themselves

they are just over £10 for genuine item apparently, unless someone knows where i can pay to have it done at a reasonable cost, i would much rather attempt it myself if its not that hard

You won't, just follow carefully and ask on here. There is another thread on here where myself and greenman walked through the steps with pluto if you can find it.....

I'll see if I can find that RichH, the other link is very good I'm sure......but it's over 40 pages long & I'd be concerned what is up to date with ICS which is what my phone came with - & on that 1st page a couple of people said it didn't work for them, that doesn't give me a lot of confidence.

If you are on a stock ROM ie the one your phone came with, it WILL work. Those that failed were running custom ROM's I think. Everyone I know who has tried it has succeeded...
