    Smile hotmail error

    hello just registered. just got a new sgs11 on tuesday, and amazed at what it does. seem to understand about data roaming now after reading quite a lot on here today. would like to know if possible, how to reomove my hoymail account as i syncronizized it and after realizing i only have 250mb data a month could do with uninstalling it again. PLEASE help most grateful

    Depending on which version of android you are on, go to settings, then accounts & sync, then either long press the hotmail account and select delete, or tap the hotmail account, then hit menu button then delete.

    thanks goots , for your reply. worked perfect, peace of mind now, i also have a google account in there , does that need to stay for appa etc , or can that go as well.

    You don't need your gmail (email) for apps, you just need to have the phone logged into your gmail account.

    If you tap on the google account you can see what stuff syncs and what doesn't. Just untick the stuff that you don't want to sync, Even if that's everything.

    You need the account though because your phone is linked to it, and you couldn't get apps from googleplay without it.
