    Yes, its just irritating, id like the standard one better but voiding the warranty is something i don't want to do, strange that you cant set it to a custom screen

    Flashed ALF2 stock UK firmware to mine. The flash counter showed standard settings so warranty should not be affected. I suggest the warranty would only be affected if you flash custom roms or root.
    I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

    You can always unroot and reflash a standard ROM if needed for warranty purposes.
