swype

Hi,

Why can't I get the swype text to work in anything else other than texting. Swype(or whatever it is now callled ) will only seem to work when I text, but I can not get it to work when using the keyboard for other things.

Can anyone help me please ?

It should work on your e mail, calendar etc.. I think browser is the only instance where it wont swype.

Mate the inbuilt Swype on our 3 is rank download the proper thing beta much better and works everywhere on the phone I think it's terrible to not have it proper like from out of the box

You have to sign up for the trial (free) then download the app and install. It works very well and can be used anywhere on your SGS when you need a keyboard, just like the old pre-installed Swype.
