But its weird why the apps reappear after I close them in the applications menu

Is there a reason for this?

That's how Samsung has programmed them to be. You can flash a custom ROM if you wish which won't have these apps always running, something like Wannamlite or Nexus F1 ROM.

Be careful which custom firmware you flash on a Note if you are planning to do that.

There are quite a few which have what is being named a "brick bug" which will actually brick your device if you ever do a factory reset. This includes the current official firmware from Samsung!

This also applies to i9100 devices (Galaxy SII). Samsung are to release an updated firmware in the next few days to correct this bug.

Incidentally, the Cyanogen custom firmware is confirmed NOT to have this bug because the boffins over there already coded around it, so if you're gonna go with a custom flash for your Note, Cyanogen is the one to go for at the moment, it seems.

This is the first time I've heard about this, although I haven't been paying much attention. Glad I didn't do a factory reset on the one I updated the other day

    Ok.
but what if I moved them from System to another location. Would that free up the ram?

Yes it would but you wouldn't be able to use them as the OS wouldn't load them when you booted the phone.

It all depends on which emmc chip you have on your board. Chainfire has released an app to check if you are worried about it.....

I liked this paragraph of that article...

In addition simply releasing a fix in the form of updated stock firmware, Samsung is also working with community developers to provide them the information they need to fix the issue in their own releases.
I wonder how many other handset manufacturers would go that far?

Not only do Samsung provide complete binaries and unlocked bootloaders, they actively help custom firmware developers.

    Gets a +1 from me
