    g mail

    Hi all,
    I can't seem to find a way to sign out of g mail, I can on my pc
    but not on my s2.
    Am I being stupid or is there a way?

    Hi RichH, I was just wondering if you can. If I lost my phone I suppose someone could have access to my mail, if I didn't have it secured.

    I don't think you can sign out of it.

    You might be able to password protect it though so that whenever you open it you have to type the password. There are apps on the play store that do that sort of thing.

    If you don't want Google to monitor you (which it can) then you have the option to deselect location services, or you can opt not to sync your Google account. However, Android phones and Google are a package you've signed up to - although your phone will function without Google mail, but I guess this is not what you are wanting.
