    Movie Editor/Movie Studio

I'm still struggling to find this on my new S3, and I can't be sure I am getting the correct one from Google Play

I just want to edit my movies, like i did with iMovie on my iPhones.

    Any ideas/suggestions?

Android magazine has a 2 page feature on how to use this app, and how it is part of ICS 4.0.

Was it removed from 4.0.4 or something?

    Cheers

    Chris

When you open Samsung App Store, click Categories > More Services > Then you will see Photo Editor.

Movie Studio should be a seperate editor for your videos.

Nope, not there, either on the phone, or via KIES. I see the photo editor as you describe, but no Movie Studio!

Could this be a non UK app or something ridiculous like that?

    Cheers

However, when you go here http://www.samsungapps.com/ , and type Movie Studio in the search bar, top right, it appears as a drop down option below, but does not seem to allow you to click it.

    Infuriating and amateur!

    Cheers

Has anyone found Movie Studio yet? I had it on my SII but can't find it for the SIII. The best I've found is a basic version, 1.1.2, that appears to have been stripped off a Honeycomb tablet.

Very frustrating since I found it a neat little program on the SII.

I asked the twitter feed of Android magazine, as that was where I saw the tutorial, explaining how to use it, and how to get it.

Evidently, they hadn't actually tried as he responded telling me Samsung had pulled it from the S3! I've asked further how do I get it, but no response. Typical.

Don't you think they should have mentioned that in their feature? iMovie was one of the most important apps I used on my iPhone, and having access to this on Android finally convinced me to jump ship. They also got some instructions wrong on spoofing your PCs ip address so that you can use Google Play as a non UK resident, but you can't, or at least their instructions didn't work.

Android Magazine, total waste of time and money.

If anyone finds a way of getting Movie Studio, or any other really good movie editor onto my UK S3, on 3, please let me/us know.

    Thanks

    Chris

There's a new app under the "More Services" icon as of today called Video Maker. Don't know if it's up to snuff - by which I mean quality rather than the genre! - but maybes worth a look.

    Cheers
