    Vacation, bringing the phone

Hey there! I am about to travel for about a month with my phone, and I have a provider here in Sweden that supplies internet etc. So I am just mainly worried what I need to have enabled and disabled when i am abroad so that I dont get any extra charges, I just want to be able to use the phone as a camera and connect to Wi-fi when needed.
I am guessing I just need to have "Data roaming" off to avoid this?

Having 'Use packet data' unticked should also help avoid this too

Put it in flight mode. You won't get any calls or texts or use data, but can still use wifi. And the battery will last for ages.

Your data connects via your Access Point Names (APN), so if you remove or disable by editing the entry, you will get phone services without data.
But unticking 'use packet data' and making sure 'data roaming' is not ticked should be sufficient.
